2017 Producing Gathering Excursions

Each afternoon, you have the choice of two excursions to some of Greensboro’s must-see cultural attractions! (You can also choose to stay at Triad Stage and create your own breakout conversation!) Sign up for your excursions when you register.

Excursions for Monday, July 17

The Forge - FULL

Discover NC’s first makerspace! The Forge inspires members to own their city, by making it what they dream it can be. They accomplish this by offering tools, classes, events, and workspaces - spreading the joy of making and helping forge creative minds. Tour and demonstrations included in registration.

The International Civil Rights Center & Museum

See history come to life! The museum celebrates the nonviolent protests of the 1960 Greensboro sit-ins at the F.W. Woolworth lunch counter that served as a catalyst in the civil rights movement. This tour is an additional $11 fee, which you can add-on to your registration.

Excursions for Tuesday, July 18

Elsewhere

Explore this living museum and artist residency, set in a 3-floor, former thrift store! Artists utilize the objects found in the museum to tell a cultural narrative and create collaborative stories. The tour is included in your registration cost.
