Fundraising Partner Program

Want to learn how you can support NCTC’s mission and give back? Join the NCTC Fundraising Partner Program! Our partners raise anywhere from $100 – $1,000 and any amount is greatly appreciated and beneficial.

For schools, the Fundraising Partner Program gives educators an opportunity to teach their students about service and nonprofit administration. It can be as easy as donating concession sales or a percentage of ticket sales, and the NCTC staff is available to provide guidance.

The program affords theatre companies the chance to partner with their audiences to support an important cause and to elevate their image in the statewide theatre community.

Megan Maglione of Jay M. Robinson High School (below) tells why she wanted to participate in the program:

“NCTC helped to bring out my passion for theatre by enabling me to put myself in an environment where I met new people with the same interests, received encouragement from peers and professionals, and gained more confidence. When our teacher informed us that NCTC needed help with funding, I knew it was necessary for the theatre department at my school to make a difference. We did various fundraisers including a Pink Flamingo Fundraiser, where we typed up a note of what NCTC meant to our school and went to various houses to drop off the note along with several pink flamingos. A $10 donation removed the flamingos from a yard. A $20 donation shifted the flamingos from that yard to the yard of their choice. We received healthy, playful responses from this project. Adding up all of the fundraising and flamingo project donations, we were able to donate all of the profits to NCTC. It was so rewarding because I really wanted to give back to NCTC after all it has given to me!”
