Angie Hays, Executive Director - angelahays@nctc.org

Angie Hays has served as the Executive Director of the North Carolina Theatre Conference since July of 2007. She has served on the national Free Night of Theater steering committee for Theatre Communications Group (TCG) and on grants panels for the Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County. She has been a part-time professor of Arts Administration at Elon University and Greensboro College and a guest instructor at the UNC School of the Arts, Wake Forest University and Salem College. Prior to her work at NCTC, she worked as the Audience Development and Communications Manager at Paper Mill Playhouse in New Jersey, a Fundraising Campaign Coordinator for the Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County, the Associate General Manager for the UNCSA Summer Performance Festival, the Director of the Children’s Division at the Docherty Agency in Pittsburgh, and the Casting Director for Porthouse Theatre in Ohio. Angie holds a BA in Theatre from Kent State University and a MFA in Performing Arts Management from the UNC School of the Arts.


Amanda Clark, General Manager - amanda@nctc.org

Amanda Clark began her work with NCTC as an intern during the summer of 2008. After interning at The Russell Agency in Winston-Salem and RLF Communications in Greensboro, she studied drama & education through UNC-Chapel Hill's Summer School Abroad program in London. Amanda began her internship with NCTC upon her return to the States that summer. After graduating from college, she enjoyed time in Los Angeles where she interned for Randi Hiller Casting, a casting agency for major motion pictures. Amanda volunteers weekly at Kids' Cafe, an outreach program through St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Amanda holds a B.A. in Communication Studies and Performance, and a Minor in Music from UNC-Chapel Hill.
